I started Copper Beech Company because I love wool felt balls. They are so cheerful! But I also wanted to make a difference in the amount of "stuff" going into the landfills. Wool is biodegradable and ours is made with non-toxic dyes. My home decor and decorations can be used for years. The felt balls are made by Nepalese women who make a fair wage and are able to send their children to school. I create all of the garlands and mobiles. I hunt for vintage glass to make sun catching garlands. I work with an importer to offer Ghana Baskets, Kenyan banana fiber Baobab trees( decorated for holidays or just home decor).I also import hand carved Kenyan Soapstone animals, hearts, dishes and figures. Beautiful metamorphic talc/schist combo stone.
