Oh the joy of wool! and Wool balls! These soft, colorful sensory balls are just right to roll to your toddler, or they can have fun squeezing them. All color photos are for ideas of designs and can be custom made in your favorite colors, so there is not a picture of every design. If there is something special you would like that is not shown, message me and I will let you know if I can make it!
Playing with balls help children to develop their fine motor skills, and gross motor skills too, when they scoot after it. Other benefits are Eye-hand coordination and Visual tracking- exercising those eye muscles. These soft, bright balls can be tossed and no one will get hurt! I wet felt the balls after shaping the wool with a needle. When it is washed, it shrinks in size, binding the fibers together. I finish designing the patterns by needle felting. These balls are a combination of wool. Top layer is merino wool or Corriedale. Inner ball is core wool.

CUSTOM BALLS are made individually by hand. I can usually ship out within two to three days, but sometimes it takes a little longer. Message me if you need by a certain date and I will let you know if I can get it right out.
Needle felted wool shrinks and each ball will not be the exact same density, but close. During the wet felting process each can shrink at different rates. All balls will be within one inch of size desired. Final sizes after washing will be measured using the circumference of the ball. (Tape measure around center of ball connected.)
SMALL is about the size of a tennis ball or small peach. Medium the size of a large ORANGE. Large is the size of a GRAPEFRUIT.
EXTRA LARGE 15 inch size available as a custom order. Message me for custom orders. Size of a small cantaloupe.
Great for travel.
Can be hand washed in cold water and mild soap, but don't put them in the dryer! Squeeze out excess water and let air dry.
Felt balls last a very long time.
**All toy play should be supervised for children under four years of age. This is NOT a chew toy for infants or toddlers.

Very soft, high quality wool balls. Vendor also included a muslin bag to store the balls in. I asked for colorful polka dots and was pleased with the product. Quick shipping.
