Kenyan carved Planter Soapstone, Mother's Day gift, Orchid container, Kenyan carved heavy planter, succulent planter or container

These lovely 5 inch round or square planters are carved from natural soapstone in Kenya. Makes a beautiful gift, or a special container for your favorite plant, or fill with a dried arrangement like flowers, rose heads or pods and moss. Small succulents or Orchids complement the soapstone beautifully. Makes a lovely housewarming gift.
Colors blend in white, brown, pink and cream and the squares are four inches. the round are closer to five inches wide and deep. Naturally occurring brown or gray dots or lines are part of the natural soapstone.
Place plant, succulent or orchid in a separate container inside the planter. Water plant, drain and then replace in soapstone vessel.

**Each planter is unique. Current square planters are more white and brown.

Kenyan Tabaka Chigware Self Help Community Group provide food and education to children and families in their community.
These planters are heavy and do not have any drainage holes at the bottom. Water plant and put back into planter after drip dry.
Do not store water in the soapstone as it may seep into and through the porous material.
