Do you love artisan work from around the world? I have adorned this fair trade African Baobab banana fiber tree with a Nepalese wool felt ball garland, made from 100 Percent New Zealand Wool. I also added wool peppermints and WWII Era Japanese made red glass beads. Lovely centerpiece with candles, or give to a loved one at senior living. Just the right size. Also fun for a child's room. Can re-decorate for every season.
(Tree has room for your own small personal ornaments.)
CUSTOM: choose garland colors. Will come with three white peppermints or three red peppermints your choice. Beads can be red, blue, or green available. Request in personalization.
The Baobab Tree is the tree of life in Africa, providing water, fruit and shade. Elephants use the bark of the tree for water during their migrations. Because of the severe droughts in Africa recently some of the thousand year old baobabs have been dying- as the elephants take too much bark and the tree is unable to recover.
12 inch tree height, 12 width, trunk circumference, 9 inches, base width is 7 inches.
