Soapstone is a talc/schist combination that has been a medium for carving for thousand of years. Heavyweight and sanded smooth. Kenyan artists make adorable and collectible animals.
Cow is three inches high, appx three 1/2 inches long. Cows are unique. Some show more natural soapstone variations like gray streaks or brown dots.
Pigs are brightly painted and show little natural variations. Pigs are 2 inches. Choose color choices in personalization.
