These solid white owls are Kenyan hand carved soapstone. Also available in dyed orange, green, red. Heavy at over a pound. Beautiful mantel display with greens, candles or garland. Use more than one.
Put on a table with votives around it.

Artisans mine, carve and then sand smooth the surface and dye with beautiful non-toxic dye colors. Tabaka chigware community self-help group uses money for food and education in their community. Fair Trade item.
**There is some slight variance in individually carved soapstone. May show gray streaks or brown spots or lines on white or have pink. Most of the owls are white.
